When you place a Rune Message on Publisher’s Sites that employ the Rune Services and you are not logged in, your Rune Messages are visible only to users who have received a unique URL tied to that Rune Message. Note that while your Rune Message will not identify you as the poster if you have not logged into the Rune Services, Publisher’s Sites may display the content of the Rune Message publicly before it vanishes. If you are not logged into the Rune Services, Rune does not link cookie information or your IP address to the URL of the Rune Message.
If you are logged in to the Rune Services while creating and posting Rune Messages, the content of your Rune Message will be combined with Personal Data that identifies you as the poster of the Rune Message. While logged in to the Rune Services, you can choose whether a Rune Message you leave will be visible to the Public by selecting visibility options. If you choose to have your Rune Message visible to the Public you are agreeing to allow the Publisher’s Site to display your Rune Messages to visitors to the Publisher’s Site. Marking a Rune Message as Public does not mean that it will be automatically visible to all visitors of a Publisher’s Site, but a Publisher’s Site may, in its sole discretion, choose to publish Public Rune Messages. Rune Messages created while logged in to the Rune Services will display some of your Personal Data, such as your profile picture, your social media account name, and links to the publicly available portions of your social media account. You may elect to set a Rune Message to vanish after a certain period of time. If a Rune Message is set to vanish, it will no longer be visible on the Publisher’s Site or to users connected to you via Social Media Services or via the unique URL after the period of time you set has expired. However, a Rune Message may still remain on Rune’s servers for a period of time after the Rune Message has vanished even if the Rune Message is no longer visible to users. Note that even if a Rune Message is set to vanish, it may still exist in some form elsewhere on the Internet, e.g., the image of the Rune Message that was shared to the Social Media Service. In addition, users who see the content you provide or share can always save it using screen shots or other image capture technology.
We may anonymize and aggregate data collected through the Rune Services and use it for any purpose. Such information does not contain Personal Data.
